My favourite shoulder superset 🌶️

Cable front raise X cable lateral raises
8-12 reps, rest for 10ish seconds, straight into 12-15 reps
3 sets with a 90 second rest period

your shoulders will be screaming, & pumping hehe 💪🏼
adding extra reps, slowing them down or adding a pause (like you’ll see in the video) is a great way to continue adding progressive overload to both of theee movements when a weight increase is gonna be few & far between!

My ‘3,2,1 go’ method was purely developed with intention of making good decisions on challenging days 💭

As I said, I always allow myself to feel my feels
and what works for me may not work for you.
it’s taken a lot of mistakes, lessons, learnings, re-do’s, retries, tears, frustrations and therapy sessions to figure out how I can best look after myself on certain days, what I always bring it back to & encourage my clients to do also, regardless of the approach that works for them is:

✨control the controllables✨

it may not ‘fix’ the issue, but it fecking doesn’t hurt and gives you back a sense of power. old habits don’t lead to new changes 💭

I can’t encourage therapy enough,
I genuinely think everyone and their dog benefits from it.
You don’t have to have been through stuff, but we should all want to know ourselves more (IMO) 💛

This calorie/macro breakdown is unreal:
345 cals | 36.1g protein | 36.8g carbs | 8.7g fats

- 1 @abesbagels bagel thin (I get them in woolies)
- 150g turkey breast slices
- 1 fried egg
- 10g ketchup & 10g mustard 🤤

- Chill & 😴

This has possibly become one of my fave set ups..

Now it’s not gonna be my first choice
But if I didn’t have a hip thrust machine, I was time poor (meaning setting up & putting away a barbell wasn’t efficient) or I couldn’t get the smith machine, I’d 1000% be utilising the leg extension.

Like anything new it’ll take some getting used to,
But how thick that cushion is also means no hip bruising 🏆

Unfortunately more frequently than the latter but these are the 2 things I do on the daily to overcome that, continue progressing & enjoying life/working on myself with minimal effort..

1) SWALLOW THE DAMN 🐸 - if you know you always talk yourself outta the gym in the evening, go in the morning, stop leaving steps till the evening and do them earlier.
2) LITTLE THINGS for your future self ✨ you’ll always be so thankful you did them!

Option 3 ain’t for anyone reading this..
You ain’t settling for mediocre boo 💥

Boo just get bloody organised
Write a list on your phone of your fave meals
Rotate them, make lil tweaks, then move onto the next few, rotate, rinse & repeat 👏🏼

Your time, effort & energy is better spent elsewhere 🪄
Ps. The only reason a recipe is “high protein” -
is cause there’s extra chicken, beef, Quorn etc in it ..
just need to clear that up xx
